| The GaS race is a
run, walk or bike race around the hp facilities in Sant Cugat (Barcelona) and its surrounding forests. The race is open to any hp employee, their guests, contractors or any person with access to the hp facilities in Sant Cugat. <see race rules> The GaS (originally standing for golfasac) was born after the idea of three friends as a race to compete and have fun. Later in 2002 GaS took a further step and turned into a solidarity race. Solidarity is the main reason of this event now. The money collected in the registration to the race is fully dedicated to fund a charity project presented by one of the workers of the site. In this web page you can find the conditions any charity project should follow to qualify for the GaS donation as well as the charity project that will receive the funds of this year's edition. Please visit the Previous Editions pages to see the projects that have received the donations in the last years as well as the projects presented. The GaS race is organized and managed by the "Organization Committee" or "the Organization" that changes from edition to edition.
